PHRYGIA. Cibyra. Gallienus, 253-268. Oktassarion (Bronze, 27 mm, 13.29 g, 12 h). AY KAICAP ΓAΛΛIHNOC Laureate and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right, cuirass decorated with gorgoneion. Rev. KI-BY/PATΩN Hexastyle temple set on base with three steps; on architrave, eagle with spread wings standing front, head to left. BMC 91. W. Weiser: Ein Fund Kaiserlicher Aes-Münzen aus Kibyra in Phrygien, in: Epigraphica Anatolica 4 (1984), p. 115, 17 (same dies). Very rare. Repatinated and somewhat smoothed, otherwise, very fine.
